SPECIAL PERFORMANCE WELCOMES MINISTER

Our pupils took part in a special performance to welcome the Minister for Agriculture, Michelle Gildernew, MLA to their school.  The pupils held an assembly with the theme of Peace, in recognition of The United Nations World Peace Day, which was celebrated on September 21.

During an assembly, the children explained what peace means to them, showed the Minister the flags they had made from different countries around the world and performed specially selected music. The Minister was escorted around the newly refurbished and expanded school.

“We are delighted that Michelle Gildernew took time out of her busy schedule to visit us.  Hopefully she experienced what a friendly and caring place the school is, where everyone works together to ensure the children receive an excellent education. Developing the whole child is important to us and this aim is reflected in all we do.”
