Headteacher's Welcome

Clogher Valley Integrated Primary School welcomes children from all backgrounds regardless of creed, race, gender or ability. We encourage an atmosphere that is happy, positive and stimulating. We aim to develop an open-minded attitude in children, enabling them to value and respect each others traditions and beliefs. Integration, parental involvement and child-centredness are at the heart of our school. It is our aim to promote each individual child's development and educational needs in a welcoming, listening and happy school with positive discipline and an ethos of respect for all.

As children are at the heart of our school we believe all children are special and should feel valued. Children’s happiness is of paramount importance to us. We believe children learn best when they are happy and so the development of high self–esteem among children and staff is very important in Clogher Valley Integrated Primary School. Children, parents and staff need to feel valued and that their ideas and opinions matter. We have a child centred approach which takes into consideration children’s needs and abilities and enables each child to experience success and a belief in their own ability to learn. We were the second school in Northern Ireland to have been accrediated with the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award. We hope this website gives you an insight into our wonderful school,
