The origin of the school lies in the hopes and dedication of local people who differ greatly in background. However, they share a common desire to see children from different cultural and religious backgrounds educated together in an environment in which all traditions are valued equally.
A group of parents interested in the development of integrated education in The Clogher Valley had been working since the summer of 2004 to create the school.
The first priority of Clogher Valley Integrated Primary School is the children. They are at the centre of all our thinking. We aim to meet their educational, emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs.
Clogher Valley Integrated Primary School is built from many different parts, children, parents, staff, governors, and supporters. The school is supported by the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education ( NICIE ). The school is currently funded by the Integrated Education Fund, and has been granted ministerial approval from September 2007. We very much appreciate their support. All are seen as valuable members of the school community.
